Crystal Spring started in 1993, before natural deodorants became cool, selling just one product the 'Crystal Spring Natural Body Deodorant'. Today its called the 'Salt of the Earth Classic' and is still one of our biggest sellers.

Our Family

We are an independent, family-owned business. Our family took on the company in 2005, when it had three products and ran it from our family home. Since then we've rebranded as Salt of the Earth, introduced a whole host of new natural deodorants and sell all round the UK, Europe and rest of the world.

Designed & Made in the UK

When we first started making spray deodorants, we used to make products in tea urn in the kitchen at home. Now we have a factory specially designed to make natural deodorants in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire which makes 85% of our products. Our factory is run on electricity from 100% renewable sources and produces our spray, roll-on, stick & balm deodorants and our foaming hand wash. Our crystal deodorants are not made in the UK.

Staying Fresh

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We are constantly trying to self-improve our products to make them better for our customers and the environment. We develop most of our products in house, and our team are constantly testing new ideas or dreaming up new iterations.
